Title: What we would talk about if God was holding my hand.
I'm still learning about God, Christianity, life, myself, everything. Much of what I experience is new and for the first time after breaking free of a hellish, cult like, and abusive on different levels past. You have to fully leave the only life you knew behind for a fighting chance at living life free. It is not easy. I haven't been able to pray since being raped in February and the new rising awareness of stuff that has been coming out in therapy over the past few months. But, I do know God does exist. So, this piece is what I would imagine I would say to God if we were taking a walk and he was holding my hand, and how he would possibly respond. The conversation fills up the arms and hands, mine is blue, God's is orange; and the more we talk, the more things begin to grow.
